CSCA Exam Registration Guide

The key dates, and the registration process step by step.

There will be five (5) CSCA examination sessions in 2026, scheduled for January, March, April, June, and December.

The examination schedule for the CSCA test on January 25, 2026 (Beijing Time) is as follows, you can refer to it.

Professional Chinese	12:00 – 13:30
Physics	15:00 – 16:00
Mathematics	18:00 – 19:00
Chemistry	20:30 – 21:30

Candidates are kindly requested to verify the specific examination time corresponding to their registered subjects and make reasonable arrangements for their daily schedules.

Exam fee

One subject: 450 RMB
Two or more subjects: 700 RMB

1. Prepare your documents (get ready in advance!)

ID Photo: 2-inch, size between 40 KB and 200 KB, white background
Passport: Government-issued identification
Credit Card: For exam fee payment

Confirm these 3 key details

Exam Date: Select the date that works best for you.
Test Format: Confirm whether it's online (at home) or in person (at a test center).
Location/Platform: Verify your test center address or the official testing platform to be used.

2. Online registration

a. Create your account
Register for a personal account on the CSCA official website (https://csca.cn).

b. Log in and choose your exam
Select Exam Date, Region, City and Format.

c. Complete the form
Fill in all your details carefully and accurately.

d. Book your exam
Select your preferred exam date, subject(s), and language version (Chinese/English).

e. Make payment
Finalize your registration by paying the fees (RMB 450 for one subject / RMB 700 for two or more). The CSCA website accepts Alipay, WeChat Pay, and overseas bank cards for payment.

You can register only once for the same exam session. After submission, subject changes are not allowed. Please confirm your selections before submitting.

Your registration is only confirmed after successful payment.

If you're applying for Chinese-taught programs, you MUST take the CSCA exam in Chinese. Choosing the wrong test language will invalidate your score.

Your CSCA results serve as an important reference for Chinese universities during undergraduate admissions and scholarship reviews. The earlier you take the exam, the more advantage you'll have.
